Things you need to know about PIWIS 4

Our piwis4 software system is a dual system, including piwis4 and piwis3.

 

PIWIS4 prompts that a password is required when starting up. Password: 123456 and then click Enter.

How to connect WIFI?

Select the WiFi icon, then select settings, find the WiFi option, then select your home WiFi from the network name (ssid), enter the password and select connection, and finally select save.

How to modify the language in software and input methods?

Click on the earth-like icon, then select the desired language and select save.

How to turn on teamviewer assistance?

Select the “three-bar” option in the lower left corner. Find Remote access. Click on the upper left corner and many options will pop up. Find Teamviewer and run it to open the remote. Provide the ID and password to us.

How to modify engineer mode?

There are options normal mode and engineer mode in the upper left corner. Click to select and switch to it. Normally, normal mode is used for diagnosis.Note: The language options in normal mode are normal. If you switch to engineer mode after entering the diagnostic software, the language will be German only.

PPN on and off：

Note: We do not provide PPN accounts and certificatesSelect ppn on and the software will pop up the PPN input interface. Generally, we select PPN OFF to close it.

The details about the PIWIS38 DEV  

The piwsi4 software version is V42.400.037. It also provides PIWIS 38 software. If the vehicle you are diagnosing is an older vehicle, it is recommended to use V38 diagnosis.
