What is Carprog II V8.28?

Carprog II V8.28 is a diagnostic tool and programmer used in automotive repair and maintenance. Carprog II allows users to perform various functions such as reading and programming electronic control units (ECUs), resetting airbag modules, odometer correction, immobilizer programming, and more.

Note: Carprog II is not the second generation of carprog.

The functions of Carprog II:

Airbag Resetting: Resetting crash data from airbag modules after deployment or accidents, allowing for reuse instead of replacement.
Dashboard Programming: Reading and programming instrument clusters or dashboards, including mileage correction, EEPROM programming, and more.
Immobilizer Programming: Programming or reprogramming immobilizer modules for key programming or bypassing.
ECU (Engine Control Unit) Programming: Reading and writing data to engine control units for performance tuning, diagnostics, or module replacement.
Odometer Correction: Adjusting or correcting mileage readings on digital odometers, often used for legal purposes or to match actual mileage.
Radio Decoding: Unlocking or decoding radio units that have been locked due to security codes or anti-theft features.
Key Programming: Programming transponder keys, remote key fobs, or keyless entry systems for vehicle access and ignition.
